In a judgment of 11 December 2025, the Constitutional Court dismissed most of the criticisms raised by companies active in the gambling sector against the law of 18 December 2024, which introduced four additional measures aimed at protecting players in games of chance (including betting).

- On 11 July 2025, the law adopted on 15 May 2025 containing Title I "Personal Securities" of Book 9 of the Civil Code was published in the Belgian Official Gazette.
- A law dated 5 November 2023 amends article X.49 of the Code of Economic Law, which set the limitation period at one year for all actions relating to a contract of carriage of passengers. This period will now be two years.
- When a harmful act is caused by the joint fault of two people, the courts have the option of sentencing them both jointly and severally to compensate the victim.
